Nick is a PEG co-chair with primary responsibility for leading Communications. Prior to Booth, Nick spent three years as an Associate at Five Points Capital (“FPC”), a $1.4 billion private equity firm in North Carolina. At FPC, Nick worked with the firms control equity and credit platforms, investing in multiple industries, including healthcare, business services, value-added distribution, and niche manufacturing. Prior to Five Points Capital, Nick was as an Investment Banking analyst at Cary Street Partners, working on sell-side advisory assignments across a variety of industries. Nick received a BS in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. As part of Booth’s Private Equity Lab, Nick interned at May River Capital.
Chandler is one of two PEG co-chairs with primary responsibility for the Private Equity Conference. Prior to Booth, Chandler was an Associate at Driehaus Private Equity ("DPE"), a middle-market growth-oriented private equity firm based in Chicago. Prior to DPE, Chandler was an investment banking analyst at Lincoln International in their Chicago office covering healthcare clients. Chandler graduated from Washington and Lee University with a BA in Economics and History. As part of the Booth Private Equity Lab, Chandler interned with Pfingsten Partners.
Michael is one of two PEG co-chairs with primary responsibility for the Private Equity Conference. Prior to Booth, Michael was an Analyst at Patriot Capital, a mezzanine firm based in Baltimore. Prior to Patriot Capital, Michael worked at Morgan Stanley. Michael graduated from the State University of New York at Geneseo with a B.A. in Economics. As part of Booth's private equity lab, Michael interned with McNally Capital.
Raoul is one of two PEG co-chairs with the primary responsibility for Programming and Career Services. Prior to Booth, Raoul spent three years as an associate with Century Equity Partners (CEP), a Boston-based middle-market private equity firm focused on financial services and healthcare. Prior to CEP, Raoul was an investment banking analyst within the Financial Institutions Group at Guggenheim Partners in New York. Raoul graduated with a BS in Finance and MS in Risk Management from St. John’s University. As part of Booth's private equity lab, Raoul interned with CIVC Partners.
Sam is one of two PEG co-chairs with the primary responsibility for Programming and Career Services. Prior to Booth, Sam spent three years as an associate with Beecken Petty O'Keefe & Company ("BPOC"), a middle-market healthcare private equity firm based in Chicago. Prior to BPOC, Sam was an analyst at Robert W. Baird in their Milwaukee and Chicago offices covering healthcare and tech-enabled services clients. Sam graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Business Administration. As part of the Booth Private Equity Lab, Sam interned with Periscope Equity.
Kate is a PEG co-chair with primary responsibility for leading the SF Trek. Before Booth, Kate was an Associate at Mainsail Partners, a middle-market growth equity firm that invests in software and healthcare companies. Prior to joining Mainsail, Kate was an Investment Banking Analyst at Cascadia Capital in Seattle. During her time at Cascadia, Kate split time between the Technology and Healthcare & Digital Health teams, where she performed M&A and capital raising advisory services to middle-market companies. Kate graduated from Dartmouth College, where she earned her B.A. in English Literature. As part of Booth’s Private Equity Lab, Kate worked with The Pritzker Organization.
Jonathan is a PEG co-chair with primary responsibility for leading the NYC Trek. Prior to Booth, Jonathan spent three years as an investment professional at Solar Capital Partners, a $6 billion New York-based private credit investment manager. At Solar, Jonathan focused on direct investments across the capital structure in middle market and venture-stage companies, with experience in the business services, healthcare, technology / telecom, and financial services sectors. Prior to Solar, Jonathan was an Investment Banking Analyst at BMO Capital Markets in the Leveraged Finance group in the New York office. Jonathan graduated magna cum laude from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University with honors in Finance and a double major in Psychology. As part of Booth's Private Equity Lab, Jonathan interned with High Street Capital.
